Who We Are

Mararani Foundation is a passionate, community-led organization rooted in Mararani village, Lamu Island, Kenya. We empower youth, support education, champion women & girls' initiatives, drive environmental action, including waste management and climate resilience , and develop community infrastructure like safe social spaces and resource centers. Through local philanthropy, strong partnerships, and collective action, we are building stronger, more resilient communities , because every small step today shapes a brighter, sustainable tomorrow for Lamu and beyond.
